Berlin is one of the most exciting cities in Europe. For every artist and designer, there is an unlimited supply of inspiration, the stream of possibility and curiosity never seems to end. Street art and graffiti dominate the aesthetic of the city, often provoking the onlooker to take some time to reflect on current social conditions and behaviors. Berlin is also woven together by a dense history and recovery which can be seen and explored on many different levels. It’s on the street, it’s in the museums and more so, it’s in its architecture or these abandoned neglected buildings, places that reflect a sobering history. Extreme chaos and extreme creativity are the two polarities of experience operating in the city at any one time. It is a beautiful and complicated place to live, where everyone has a stage to be radically themselves.
